This policy explains what information we collect when you visit kaleidoscopescholarshipfund.org, make a donation, or contact us, and how we use and protect it.
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, start a scholarship inquiry, subscribe to our newsletter or make a gift, we collect what you provide. This can include your name, email address, organization, mailing address, the fund you choose to support, and your message.
Donation information. Gifts are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe, PayPal (including Venmo), Chariot (DAFpay) and DAF Direct. KSF does not receive or store full card or bank account numbers. We receive the information needed to record your gift and send your tax receipt, such as your name, email, billing address, gift amount, date and fund designation.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. This can include your browser type, device, approximate location, pages visited and how you arrived. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, payment processors, email and CRM provider, and Kaleidoscope PBC, which provides program administration, disbursement, accounting and technology services under KSF's direction. These providers may use information only to perform services for KSF. We may also disclose information when required by law.
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, subject to records we must keep for tax and legal purposes. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. We keep donation records as long as required for tax, audit and legal purposes, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Our website is intended for donors and program partners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
