The Kaleidoscope Scholarship Fund (KSF) is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We make scholarship philanthropy easier, more efficient and more impactful. Families, foundations, companies and associations use KSF to create scholarship programs without building a charitable organization of their own.
Scholarships are often the first spark of opportunity. They connect students to education and real-world experience and fuel independence and achievement. Our job is to make it simple for generous people and organizations to turn that intent into awards that reach students, year after year.
KSF receives gifts from donors and holds them in separate program funds. We approve every scholarship program, govern the independent selection of every recipient, and disburse awards. Donors get a tax-efficient way to give and a program that runs professionally from the first application to the final award.
KSF is governed by its own independent board. The board approves programs and oversees how recipients are selected, so award decisions stay independent of donors.
Through a services partnership with Kaleidoscope PBC, KSF engages platform technology, program administration, disbursement, accounting, marketing and IT support. All of it is delivered under KSF's direction. Kaleidoscope PBC is a separate company.
